Learning Through Tradition

One problem with learning the Chinese language as a westerner is the perceived difficulty of the written language. Chinese the Right Way aims to alleviate the stress of learning the Chinese language by making lessons fun, easy, and interactive.

For millenia, Chinese natives have learned Chinese through heritage, tradition, and stories. Chinese the Right Way aims to bring those traditions and stories to the West so more people can learn Chinese. Chinese the Right Way uses an emphasis on traditional learning strategies and storytelling in order to make the Chinese language fun and easy to learn.

Developed by Students

This webservice is developed by Cody Lee with the guidance of Mercer University's Dr. Martin Zhao. The website is provided "as is" to help other students develop their chinese skills.

Data is pooled from public sources such as HanziDB or Unihan to increase the amount of information provided. Other content is developed internally to supplement the learning experience.

Chinese the Right Way includes lessons and books written by Dr. Martin Zhao which will help new learners not only learn about the written and oral aspects of the Chinese language, but also enrich the student's understanding of Chinese culture.
